How Effective Award to Improve Employer Performance

As like the tittle, this posting is not far away from the unsatisfied at the work place. Not unsatisfied, may be it's just disappointed with the condition that happen in my work place. Yeah! How can't? Here the story.

Since my office tried to implemented the concept of Balance Scorecard several month ago, one point of the concept is how important the human resource in an organizaation. The organization must be done something to keep stable [wish to be increase] the employer motivation to work. And the way to realize this though is by given award for an employer that have great performance in a period. The award is called 'officer of the month'.

And what the response with this implementation? Lot employers just give the apathetic response. No care about this idea, and the effect is no progress in performance. Everything just flow as like before. How pity is it! How can it's happen? Good idea, good concept to implemented, but nothing, no worked, no change! It can be analyzable.

May be, if can i give one reason how this phenomenon [wow! ha ha ha...] happen is; because no correlation between performance and the incentive its self. No appreciate for the employer that give the best performance for the organization. So don't blame the idea, the award, the concept, the employers. Because something wrong here is the system it's self. [Just the opinion]
